Alder scores three times late
in the 4th quarter to beat Oak Harbor 24-7 to secure State
Championship match up v Youngstown Cardinal Mooney.
Trailing 7-3 with less than 5 minutes to go, the Pioneers
capped off an 80 yard scoring drive with a Schlosser to Rapp
2 yard Touchdown pass to take a 10-7 lead. On the very next
Oak Harbor possession, Justin Hostetler came up big with a
72 yard interception Touchdown return to extend the lead to
17-7. That was followed by a Justin Hamilton interception
that was returned 43 yards for the final Alder score of the
night.
